Art Therapist.
Sessions are facilitated by a skilled art therapist who is able to offer a safe environment to explore difficult life events and inner challenges.

Therapist and client create a therapeutic relationship in a safe environment where the emphasis is on the process and art materials are used as self expression tools.

There is no right or wrong way to produce art, as the artwork is seen as self reflection and a means of communicating.

Art therapy is used to assist in expressing emotions, heighten self discovery, empower and explore inner strengths to overcome challenges and obstacles.

Various mediums are used that include writing, drawing, painting, collage, doodles, talking and many other forms of expression.

Art therapy is a helpful way to work with others who are unable to put their experience into words.

Process.
Art therapy is not about creating a beautiful piece of art but about the process of expression therefore you do not need to have any prior artistic experience or be creative.
