Hillcrest Community Center

Creative Well-Being by Zana Becker (6-12 years)

Are you aware that art therapy is an excellent avenue for exploring your frustrations, fears, anxiety and feelings whilst giving you control in a supportive, safe environment?

Creating could lead to a journey of self discovery, improved communication, wellness and feelings of not being different or overwhelmed. Research has shown that art therapy can positively affect your mood, function, behaviour and cognition.

Expressing oneself through art therapy opens up conversations that might have been difficult to express verbally, thus bringing attention to a persons strengths and allowing them to show their personality.

Join me in discovering your authentic self and avenues of self-care through art making.

No experience is required.
